Welcome, Sound.

A music production odyssey.

Fixing things

A bit earlier this week I have revisited a tune that I started a while back. It was when I didn’t quite know what I was doing (not that I do now.. but I certainly knew less). I’ve noticed that this time, even though to me, nothing has changed, I was able to make considerable progress on the song.

Within minutes I came up with the structure, a new part and improved the melody and bass line. I took it to the next level if you will.

So here is the moral of the storyt: Leave your songs alone for a while if you find yourself stuck. ALWAYS save the progress so that you can do that. You’ll find that ultimately you are more productive.

I am anyway.

Hope it helps,

Major Shake
